FAMILY HEALTH
Naturopathic primary care
About Dr. Laura
I’ve always been passionate about helping people, and a love for the sciences led me towards this career. Shortly after completing my undergraduate degree in aquatic biology, I traveled to the Philippines where I served in the Peace Corps for 2.5 years. It was there that I first learned how the health and well being of individuals impacts the community as a whole.

Eventually I found my way to naturopathic medicine and fell in love with the tenets of treating the whole person, getting to the root cause of disease and assisting the body in healing itself. I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine with a doctorate in naturopathy, a certificate in midwifery and a master's in integrative health research.

As a primary care physician I enjoy getting to know and treat the entire family from birth to adults. I am also a licensed midwife and do attend births with my colleagues.

When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening, spending time outside and cooking plant based meals.
